- A Google User Review added: 2018.03.27★ ★ ★ ★ ★We had a really good time at this cottage. It certainly has character and is quite large really (five proper bedrooms). We liked the log fires and the Chiminea on the "castle" mound where we sat most nights watching the sun set over the lake. Its in a great location by the lake and it took us about 10 minutes to walk into Bala town where there is a supermarket, pizza and fish and chip shop and several friendly pubs!
